*** Clarifications to Some of the New
Men’s Mechanics***
Team Control Foul: Rule 4-26.9
1. The player control foul signal was only used when an offensive
player committed a player control foul. The new rule 4-26.9 now calls
for the use of the player control signal for all team control fouls. The
player control signal can be found on page 93 of the CCA Manual.
2. When a team control foul is called you will treat it as a violation in
that there will be no free throws shot. All officials will switch after the
foul is reported to the table. The ball will than be put into play closest
to the spot of the foul.

Notice: IT IS A STATIONARY SIGNAL!!
Overtime:
R should inform captains, coaches, scorer’s and shot clock operator
of proper procedures.
Low Post:
When the ball enters the low post area on the CENTER side, the
LEAD official shall move towards the lane line extended or back up a
few steps from the play to get a better view. Emphasis is to close
down as the initial step to a rotation.
